Good things come in small packages.
It’s not always the life changing apps that make a difference. Sometimes the ones which save us a few seconds make just as big an impact. FastLink (iTunes link) does just that. FastLink is also available for Android OS.
I often use it when I’m blogging or sending emails in school as it crunches any URL ready for posting. You simply input your long URL then hit ‘shorten’ and it does the job for you. Yes there are other options but this one is free and saves waiting on the Goo.gl page loading in Safari.
There are other apps such as Pixel Shrink iPad Edition (allows posting to your social networks) and Little URL which are both free, you may want to look at them but for sheer simplicity and fitness for purpose in a complicated world, FastLink is the one on my homepage!
